Seat is stamped 16″ flaps measure 12.5″ bar to bottom and 13″ across (1C short/forward flaps) the front gullet measures 4 3/4″- medium tree.
2013 Model.The leather is soft and very “grippy” with the upgraded calfskin leather ($800 upgrade). It will give you a true advantage because they are not slipping and sliding around. Front + back blocks under the flaps provide extra security. There are no tears, no loose stitching. We do see some light seat seat wear and basic use you would expect on a used saddle. We had this saddle checked over by our saddler and the stitching at the bottom of the flaps was redone so it is all ready for its new owner and nothing needs repair or replacement. The saddle did have a name plate added that you can cover up with your own. The 16″ is ideal for a child coming off a pony saddle but not yet ready for an adult 16.5″ that they may swim around in or this could also work for a petite adult.
