Seat is stamped 17″ flaps measure 13.5″ bar to bottom and 13.5″ across (#2A forward flaps) the front gullet measures 4 3/4″ medium tree.
2012 Model. Upgraded calfskin leather that is VERY grippy and soft. There are no tears but you can expect this to show use. There is some cracking towards the back of the seat and on the outer flaps. Outer pads are nice and soft and your knees will sink into them. Front blocks and back blocks under the flaps. The foam flocking was changed out to wool and there is quite a bit added. You can have a saddler remove some if you need to make adjustments to how it fits your horse. This is a nice feature without having to pay to get brand new panels put on like with a foam saddle. This saddle is priced to sell and ideal for those of you wanting a comfortable French saddle that would retail close to $7000 new but getting one at 1/4 of the cost with no repairs or tears but please look at pictures well since this does show use.
