Large thick back panels that are wool flocked and help the saddle lay flat and prevent rocking. There are no tears, no loose stitching, no cracking and there was never a name plate put on the saddle! It is jet black in color with no fading anywhere at all! The blocks on this are large and really help to hold you in place for sitting trot or riding a large mover.
