Description
Seat is stamped 18 but typical to Butet measures a little larger at just over 18″ flaps measure 13 1/4″ bar to bottom and 14.5″ across (forward flaps) the front gullet measures 4″- narrow tree. The saddle is stamped wide but it was reflocked with wool and it has changed the way the tree size fits. This will work great for those narrow TB type horses with a tall wither and slimmer shoulder.
2020 model. The leather is buttery soft made of the upgraded premium leather. You will not slip and slide around in this saddle. It was well conditioned beautifully. This has the P seat which is the flat depth seat. Saddle is dark brown in color. Saddle is in nice condition with basic use you would expect. There is a small rubbed area on the front left piping. Seat looks like it was never ridden in with no rubs or wear. Billets look good as well. Butet changed out the panels to wool and it will fit a TB type horse well. You can also have the flocking adjusted fit your horse unlike if had the standard foam panels that these usually come with. The cost the owner paid to do this was $800 so this is a rare find in a French saddle. Cost new is about $7000
